Sarimay Solar plant energized and producing its first megawatt-hours!

A major milestone has been reached in Uzbekistan: the Sarimay solar power plant is now energized and producing its first megawatt-hours. After 10 months of dedicated work, this achievement marks a turning point in delivering 126 MW of renewable energy to the region.

From the installation of two 80 MVA transformers to the completion of the high-voltage substation and transmission line, every step was executed with precision and care. Our engineering, procurement, and construction teams worked hand-in-hand with local partners to overcome tight deadlines and challenging conditions.

More Than Infrastructure

Sarimay is about powering over 60,000 lives and avoiding 116,000 tons of CO₂ emissions annually. It’s about planting 2.65 million shrubs, supporting schools, and building sports fields, a legacy of sustainability and community impact.

The project now moves into commissioning and performance testing, paving the way for operations and maintenance. This milestone is a testament to what can be achieved when purpose and performance unite.
