Voltalia is an international player in the renewable energy sector. The Group produces and sells electricity from its wind, solar, hydraulic, biomass and storage facilities. It has 2.6 GW of capacity in operation and under construction and a portfolio of projects under development with a total capacity of 14.2 GW.

Voltalia in Uzbekistan
In 2023, and after two years of business development in the country, Voltalia was awarded for a 100 MW solar project in the Khorezm region, after having proposed the most competitive price.
The journey of Voltalia in Uzbekistan started indeed in 2020, at that time the company prequalified to participate in a wind tender that turned out to be unfruitful for the French company. Still, the exciting renewable energy program of Uzbekistan offered to Voltalia other opportunities and, month after month, the company was able to demonstrate its capabilities after many meetings and workshops with the Government of Uzbekistan.
In December 2022, Voltalia registered its Uzbek entity under the name of Voltalia Tachkent FE LLC. The offices are located in the city center of Tashkent and will host up to 12 employees at the end of the year 2023. The team, mainly composed of local engineers, is dedicated to develop the on-going and future projects of Voltalia in Uzbekistan. Indeed, the ambition of Voltalia is to continue the growth of the activity in the country which offers a lot of possibilities in wind, solar, storage energies and even agrisolar projects.
Voltalia is also present in Uzbekistan to serve its mission to Improve global environment, fostering local development, which means optimizing the energy mix by producing green and affordable electricity, creating new jobs, and beyond all this, create links between people locally, around meaningful projects for the planet and for the communities.
