Voltalia Conducts Road Safety Training for Local Schoolchildren
As part of the ongoing Photoelectric Power Station Construction Project, a special campaign focusing on road safety training was recently held. This initiative aimed to raise road safety awareness among young children, a group particularly vulnerable to road-related accidents.
The campaign, organized in collaboration with local authorities, sought to complement existing safety initiatives. The main objective was to introduce the project, discuss the potential traffic impacts with the construction project, and equip children with the knowledge and skills to stay safe on the road.
Key topics covered during the session included:
- An introduction to the Photoelectric Power Station project and Voltalia.
- Safety awareness and the importance of adhering to safety rules.
- Specific road safety tips, emphasizing the potential risks near construction zones.
- A short educational video on road safety.
- Real-life examples highlighting why road safety matters.
- Interactive Q&A session.
- Distribution of fun, educational booklets for children to reinforce the lessons learned.
A total of 200 children, aged 8 to 13, participated in the event. The young attendees actively engaged with the content, eagerly answering questions and posing their own inquiries about road safety and solar energy. Voltalia representatives were on hand to respond to their queries and provide additional insights.
The session was met with enthusiastic appreciation from both the children and their school, marking a successful step toward promoting safety awareness during the construction phase of the project.
